Made to Measure – your custom wedding dress
Have you found your favorite design and would you like to have your dress individually made for your wedding?
With our Made-to-Measure service, your wedding dress is crafted based on your personal measurements.
The design and character of the selected model remain intact, while the fit and length are adjusted to your proportions.
After production, we offer complimentary adjustments to ensure your dress fits perfectly.
For relaxed planning, we recommend ordering your Made-to-Measure wedding dress about six months before your wedding. The production and processing time for new orders and adjustments is approximately 60 working days.
Made to Measure is particularly suitable for brides who want to keep their wedding dress as a personal memento.
Rent the Dress – rent a wedding dress in Hamburg
A special wedding dress does not necessarily have to be bought.
With Rent the Dress, you can rent selected wedding dresses from Musée de Lace for your wedding.
This concept is an alternative for brides who want to wear high-quality bridal fashion but do not wish to keep the dress permanently after the wedding.
If your desired dress is already available in your size, you can reserve it for your wedding date. Should your size not yet be available in our showroom, we can order the dress for you.
We therefore recommend reserving your wedding dress about three months before your wedding.
Depending on availability, short-notice bookings may also be possible.
The rental price is 50% of the regular retail price. The ordering fee of €200 is included in the rental price.
Personal wedding dress fitting in Hamburg
A wedding dress looks different in a photo than it does on your own body. That is why personal fittings are at the heart of Musée de Lace.
During your appointment, you can try on various silhouettes and designs to find out which dress feels right for you.
We take our time for your selection and provide advice on fit, styling, and matching accessories.
Once you have found your favorite dress, we will discuss together whether Made to Measure or Rent the Dress better suits your vision and your wedding date.

When should I order my wedding dress?
For a Made-to-Measure wedding dress, we recommend ordering approximately six months before the wedding date. This allows sufficient time for production, delivery, and any potential adjustments.
For Rent the Dress, we recommend a reservation at least three months before the wedding so that your desired model and size are as likely as possible to be available.
Short-notice reservations may also be possible depending on availability.
Can I try on my wedding dress in Hamburg?
Yes. Our wedding dresses can be tried on during a personal appointment in our Hamburg showroom.
Please book your fitting appointment in advance so that we can schedule sufficient time for you and your selection.
Can I rent a wedding dress in Hamburg?
Yes. With our Rent-the-Dress service, you can rent selected wedding dresses for your wedding.
If your desired design is not yet available in your size, it can be ordered for you for an ordering fee. The ordering fee is credited toward the rental price.
